A New Year, a new pattern: the Isabel doll. For children a doll is precious friend, a friend that accompanies them on good and bad days, a playmate…
This doll was named after my dear friend Isabel, Our friendship already lasts for 20 years.
The reactions of my testers immediatly showed that Isabel was a special doll. Never before I received so much response after asking who wanted to test the pattern.
Some testers even made several dolls with the pattern. Nicole Goelen made these three sweeties:
Saundra Shackleford used these lovely soft colors and put the doll in a beautiful autumn setting.

Ka
tja Heylen made a doll with a purple dress. She attached the wig to the head with only a few stitches so that the wig can be taken off again. Katja crochets dolls for children with cancer who lose their hair as a result of the treatment. They will now have a doll that can look like them and gives them comfort.
Marianne made three cute dolls with a lot of hair. I also like the striped dress.
Debbie Schell Kirkland chose a beautiful blue outfit for her doll.
“Sweethart Tofive” made this pink sweetheart.
Beth Schwinn Syme made this beauty. She changed the last rows of the dress to create a flared dress. She addes nice curly hair and gave her a healthy blush. Lovely!
Melinda Ward added some sleeves to the dress. After all, it’s winter time.
I hope that a lot more Isabel dolls will be made a,d that they become someone’s best friend
You can find the pattern here.
I wish you a Happy New Year with lots of friendship and creativity.
